Internship Description
The intern will manage videos, blogs, integrate visual images, podcasts, and audio into social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, linked in, and twitter for the company. Through the length of the internship, the intern will get to work in a professional setting with health professions across a variety of healthcare disciplines, building a name for themselves in this upcoming area of health communications. Research websites and conduct benchmarking research to assist the needs of the board. Discern what electronic resources are available in the local community for people with a variety specific mental and physical health needs. The impact of medical issues on mental health and emotional wellbeing.

The intern will receive a reference from the business owners and be able to add this work accomplishment to his/her/their resume.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Extensive use of social media platforms, video equipment, video files, audio files, and social media platforms is required. Knowledge of health messaging, suicide prevention messaging, anti-stigma messaging is needed. Knowledge of the technology behind webinars is a plus.

Hours
20 hours per week in July, 2020. The twenty hours are on a flexible schedule, to be worked out with the intern supervisor upon starting the internship.
