He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), indicating advanced training in this field. He specializes in both couples counseling as well as family therapy with children.

I bring 20 years counseling experience to Bridge to Wellness Centers, helping clients find their strengths and then enhancing them to promote healing. My work has spanned four countries, and helped people from five continents. I have also worked extensively with military members and their families. I believe personal strengths can be used to heal from anxiety, trauma, depression, abuse, substance abuse, grieving and loss, negative relationships, challenging parental situations, can assist to alleviate chronic pain, and can be used to help make you whole.

I have a desire to work with clients who have experienced trauma, may it be any form of violence (abuse/neglect, intimate partner violence, etc). | focus on individuals in familial/intimate relationships who may be experiencing difficulty managing emotions, grief, etc. | have research interests in working with those who have experienced complex trauma due to individuals whom they share(d) an intimate relationship with (partner(s)/family/loved ones) who they know have or suspect personality/mood disorders, and | have an interest in research that will promote empowerment of post traumatic growth in individuals to reclaim their lives.
